Review of the OREA Hotel Angelo Praha, Czech Republic

During my recent trip to Prague, I stayed at the stylish OREA Hotel Angelo Praha. Upon taking my first steps into this 4-star hotel, I was blown away by the stunning interiors. The hotel is in an ideal location to explore the Czech capital and it offers the perfect blend of style and modernity. Check out my review of one of the Czech Republic’s most finest hotels…

1. Stylish design

The hotel’s unique and stylish environment is its hallmark and makes it instantly stand out – from the hotel lobby’s beautiful Asian furniture and accessories, to the exclusively selected colour scheme and subtle finishing touches…

2. Modern rooms

The hotel offers 163 spacious rooms and five apartments. The unique colour scheme of red, yellow and black creates a modern and cosy environment for guests. The beds are super comfortable and the rooms are filled with amenities including a TV, fridge, safe, minibar, a hair dryer, iron, bathroom essentials, air conditioning and unlimited free wifi. The rooms are also sound proof, so noise from the corridor, neighbouring rooms or from the street are minimal. Upon arrival, I was offered a free upgrade to one of the suites on the top floor, which also included unlimited hot drinks!

3. Convenient location

The OREA Hotel Angelo Praha is located in the Andel business district, just a few minutes walk from the Andel shopping centre, filled with shops and restaurants. Public transport links including trams and the metro are also right on the hotel’s doorstep.

The hotel is located close to all the city’s main sights – the nearest attraction is the famous Dancing House, about a 15-minute walk away. The Old Town is also conveniently located about 15-minutes by tram or a 30-minute walk away. Petrin Hill and the Petrin Lookout Tower are a 30-minute walk away, the perfect hike to watch the sunset.

4. Delicious breakfast

The buffet breakfast is excellent, with a huge variety of food to choose from, including hot and cold food options – from cereals and pastries, to fruits and yoghurts. The hotel was really busy during my stay, but the seating area is spacious so it didn’t feel crowded during breakfast.

5. Friendly staff

From the point of check-in to check-out, the staff were always really friendly and happy to help with any questions. They always said hello and had a smile on their faces. The Milka chocolates at the front desk for guests was a bonus!

If you are travelling to Prague soon, I highly recommend you stay at the OREA Hotel Angelo Praha! It is affordable and for all the reasons mentioned above, you won’t be disappointed. You can find out more about the hotel or book directly here.
