Luxury stay in Qatar – a review of Al Najada Doha Hotel by Tivoli

Al Najada Doha Hotel by Tivoli is a new luxury 5-star hotel located in the heart of central Souq Al Najada. It is an architecturally stunning hotel – a tranquil oasis with an authentic Arabian flair. From its modern state-of-the-art facilities, to its prestigious views of Doha’s skyline, here’s my review of one of Qatar’s most opulent hotels.

Style and authenticity

Situated near the heart of the shimmering Arabian Gulf, the Al Najada Doha Hotel by Tivoli is a stylish architectural masterpiece, bringing together centuries old Qatari elegance, with a contemporary finish. The hotel’s courtyard features a beautiful oasis, with a majestic charm and a divine scent. Upon entering the lobby, I was in awe of the exquisite décor, and the simple yet effective touches, from the granite floors to the marble bathrooms.

Rooms

The aura of Arabian luxury filters through every corner of the hotel, and especially into the hotels rooms. They feature modern state-of-the-art facilities, from docking stations for mobile phones, to popcorn makers and private balconies overlooking the piazza towards Souq Al Najada – perfect for watching the most stunning Qatari sunrises! We had two connecting rooms, both of which were really spacious with king-sized beds and sofas. Four complimentary water bottles were provided in the rooms each day. The wall art was also a really nice touch!

Location

Al Najada Doha Hotel by Tivoli is perfectly situated in the heart of the city – just a five-minute walk from the famous Souq Waqif, walking distance to the Doha Corniche and the Museum of Islamic Arts, and just a 15-minute drive from Hamad International Airport. Souq Waqif Metro Station is just a five-minutes walk away, providing fast and convenient access to all parts of the city.

Buffet breakfast

The buffet breakfast at the hotel’s Al Baraha Restaurant is filled with an abundance of choice to satisfy everyone’s cravings, from hot and cold worldwide food options! The delicious food is coupled with the restaurant’s luxurious and elegant ambiance, with both an inside and outside dining area, making this the perfect spot to start the day.

Hotel staff and service

Al Najada had lots of staff and I found the friendliest were the breakfast staff and room cleaners, who went over and beyond to make our stay enjoyable – shout out to Sirajoon and his colleagues from the breakfast team! My earring had accidentally fallen behind a large cupboard in the room which was fixed to the wall, and the cleaner did not hesitate to help find it, which was really appreciated. I think the front desk staff could do well to learn about friendly hospitality from the the breakfast staff and cleaners, who are a real credit to the hotel.

Overall, I had an amazing stay at the Al Najada Doha Hotel by Tivoli – the hotel oozed with luxury and Arabian flair, which made the trip feel really special and memorable.
