A review of one of Estonia’s best hotels – Tallink City Hotel

Stylish lobby and interiors

Upon arrival to this four-star hotel, I was greeted to style and elegance. The luxurious lobby is slick, embodied with futuristic design and decor, oozing a Scandinavian vibe. This is the definition of a modern oasis of comfort…

Perfect rooms

Tallink City Hotel has 324 modern rooms and suites across 10 floors , filled with everything guests need to relax.

My room included…

  • Living and dining area: from a minibar and smart TV, to spacious cupboards, complimentary high-speed WiFi, a sofa, safe and air conditioning, the rooms are large, cosy and soundproof.
  • Sleeping area: two twin-beds, with a comfy mattress, bedding and pillows with different options available on request.
  • Bathroom: Ritual amenities, make-up mirror, hairdryer and luxury towels.

Central location

This hotel has the most exclusive location in the centre of Tallinn, just a few minutes walk from the iconic sights, shopping district, Old Town and museums. It’s also really well connected to public transport, and the airport is just a short bus ride away.

Buffet breakfast

A rich buffet breakfast is provided in Tallink’s own restaurant – the City Grill House. There is a great selection of food and drinks, from cereals and doughnuts, to fruits and yoghurts, the perfect fuel to start your day exploring Tallinn.

The restaurant also provides a delicious brunch, lunch and dinner.

Exceptional staff service

Tallink City Hotel has the friendliest staff, from the receptionists on the 24-hour front desk and waiters, to the cleaners and security, always going above and beyond to ensure guests have a first-class experience.

Additional amenities

I really like the fact that the hotel also has a private sauna, relaxation room, kids area, bookable study rooms, shops and a utilities room with an ironing board, sewing area and washing machine – these are all added benefits to enhance the experience of guests, and aspects which are not usually found in other hotels.

If you’re travelling to Tallinn soon, I highly recommend you stay at Tallink City Hotel!
